As well as sales offices in over 36 countries and regions around the world supplying products to over 147 countries. Hengtong Group is the largest Optical Fibre and Power Cable manufacturer in China and the seventh largest in the world. It is also in the top 2 largest Optical Fibre communication producers.

Established Qidu Communication Cable Factory.
The year of 1993 saw the establishment of Jiangsu Hengtong Group, marking the company’s first step of going global.
Hengtong ranked China's Top 5 in Communication Optical Cable industry.
The establishment of Hengtong Hong Kong. This year charted a new course of going global.
The enterprise restructured in Oct. 1999 and renamed as Jiangsu Hengtong Optic-electric Stock Co., Ltd. from Wujiang Miaodu Optical Cable Co., Ltd..
First international export was to Pakistan.
A cooperation agreement with Japan's Fujikura was signed in 2002. The China-Japan joint venture lent new vigor to Hengtong.
Hengtong was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange in Aug.
The first environmentally friendly Indoor Opical Cable was produced in Feb.
Hengtong was recognized as China's Corporate Technology Centre, thus gaining more support from the government in the R&D field.
Four Core Optical Cable for FTTH was successfully manufactured in the first trial was supplied to Ecuador.
The opening of Hengtong Submarine Cable division.
The Optical Fibre Preform, designed and manufactured by Hengtong. This broke up a 10-year long monopoly by foreign companies.
The joint venture with Sumitomo was established to help Hengtong improve its international presence.
Hengtong established an Optical Fibre Cable factory in Brazil with an annual manufacture capacity of 700,000 core km.
Hengtong has established its overseas industrial bases in Brazil, Malaysia and India. It has marketing and technology service branches in more than 30 countries throughout the world. It’s products and services have covered over 110 countries and regions.
Hengtong Group establishes its first sales office in Australia.
