Hengtong Cable Australia (HCA) will be supplying 35km of Flexible LV cable to Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) for a new Battery Project.

Construction has commenced on the project already, and will consist of a 250MW/500MWh BESS, located in Tamworth, New South Wales.

The project will be instrumental in supporting New South Wales’ renewable energy targets. The project has enough power to supply electricity for up to 115,000 homes during peak periods.

The project is expected to be fully operational by 2027 and is located approximately 5.8km southeast of the Tamworth town centre.
