Hengtong Cable Australia (HCA), will be supplying 7.4km of 33kV cable to the second stage of Goyder to BESS to United Group (UGL).

Stage 2 will add a further 227 MW / 907 MWh of storage capacity, matching Stage 1 (currently under construction by UGL for Neoen and Tesla), and will bring the total capacity of Goyder Battery to 454 MW / 1,814 MWh.

UGL will deliver balance of plant works including civil, electrical and high-voltage infrastructure installation of Tesla’s new Megablock technology, as well as testing and commissioning of the balance of plant.
