ZARAGOZA, February 17 (CablesCom) —With the intention of getting to know more about Chinese culture, CablesCom have celebrated the Lunar New Year again this year.
Over the last year, it has been complicated due to the Coronavirus. However, we don’t want to miss the opportunity to celebrate.
We have not been able to meet, so everything has been different but it has still been very special.
For this year, we have decorated the new showroom with the typical decoration, as well as the coffee area of the plant.
We’ve also given each worker a bag with typical Chinese food, so they could enjoy the Day.
This year there was a new surprise. All the CablesCom workers were able to participate in a contest for a Chinese New Year stuffed animal.
For everyone it was very exciting and the winners were very happy.
On the Chinese New Year Eve, the “Aragón en Abierto” program on Aragón TV visited our facilities to learn how we were celebrating the Chinese New Year, as we continued to promote different actions to bring Chinese culture closer to the entire team.
Veronica had the opportunity to explain the celebration and how it was celebrated at CablesCom. She also explained the importance of belonging to the Hengtong Group and the cultural integration between both countries.
“Aragón en Abierto” is a daily program aimed at the whole family in which current affairs and entertainment form its basic pillars. It is broadcast on Aragón TV, which is the most important channel in Aragón.
CablesCom is committed to cultural integration. For CablesCom, integration with Chinese culture in our society is one of the most important pillars.
Chinese culture is closer to us every day. We try to get to know and be part of the Chinese Community in our region.
This year, for the Chinese New Year, we congratulated from CablesCom the Chinese Ambassador in Spain, Mr. Wu Haitao. We have conveyed with a letter our greetings and gratitude for the Embassy’s work in our country. We accompany the letter with a very special gift, a personalized CablesCom jersey.
On the other hand, the Confucius Institute of the University of Zaragoza has sent us a personalized greeting. It has been an honor for us.
The Confucius Institute of the University of Zaragoza is the result of the agreement between the Central Office of the Confucius Institute of China and the University of Zaragoza and was born in order to strengthen educational cooperation between China and Spain, support and promote the development of teaching of the Chinese language, as well as increasing friendship and mutual understanding between the Chinese people and the Spanish people.
Safe Area Seal
We continue progressing in occupational risk prevention.
Thanks to our having maintained and improved all preventive and security measures against Covid19, we have renewed the Safe Area seal of the MAS SPMAS Prevention Society for the second time running.
This encourages us to continue working along the same lines and keeping our staff safe.
Bonus: Let's pay a new year call on CablesCom and look for the "red bags" there!
