Hengtong Cable Australia has been awarded the supply of 112km of 33kV, 57km of twin D.C Sub-array Cable, 45km of Fibre, 75km of LV and Harnesses by PCL Constructors for the 214MW DC Woolooga Solar Farm.

The 214 MW DC Woolooga Solar Farm is expected to generate approximately 438,000 megawatt hours of solar power annually – or enough to power the equivalent of 63,158 Australian homes per year and provide an offset of more than 350,400 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions each year, comparable to taking over 145,950 fuel-burning cars off the road.
